I read about the battery issue but wow, it has to be on the charger a lot!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, there. We appreciate your time taking to share the experience with your iPhone Air battery, and we understand you feel frustrated about its charge capacity. It is very frustrating to realize the battery fails to meet your standards. Our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused.
As a friendly reminder, the iPhone Air prioritizes a slim profile; its battery capacity is smaller and is rated for about 12 hours of continuous web browsing. If high-demand apps like social media, video streaming, or games are used for long stretches daily, the battery will drain much faster, and a midday recharge will be needed.
However, here there are a few basic steps that can help with your battery life:
1️⃣-Check for and install any available software updates. 2️⃣-Review Battery Usage in Settings to see which apps are using the most power. 3️⃣-Reduce screen brightness. 4️⃣-Disable background app refresh for nonessential apps.
We highly recommend checking the iPhone User Guide: 🔗https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/welcome/ios to learn more about your phone, its features, and how to maximize it.
We hope the previous tips help you get the most out of your iPhone. Thanks for being part of our AT&T community.
The new smart button is more trouble than it's worth. The silent button is dumb and always causing problems. The camera is mediocre - get a pro. The case and feel are awesome, but the features are not impressive. Given the pro is only a little more, I really wish I'd gotten the pro.
