[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I love to make homemade pastries and this make it so much more easier. She loves not having to mix the dough up by hand as she is getting older and not as strong as she used to be. You won't regret buying this little guy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pastry beater is a great addition for the Kitchen-aid mixer. I used it to make a batch of tea cakes and the dough was beautiful. It kept my hands free and I love the additional scraper that’s included - It works much better than some others that I have. I can’t wait to try additional attachments. This is such a wonderful addition to my baking pastimes- absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great product from KitchenAid. I have most of their products in my kitchen. I have their Pastry Beater that works excellent when making cakes, pie crust and other mixes that have flour, shortening or lard. The beater simply makes mixing easier and more thoroughly. I have several if not all the KitchenAid attachments for their mixer's. I love their products.

GRAY STREAKS in my batter

I have discontinued use because it leaves gray streaks in my batter. Have tried to reach Kitchen Aid, but the chat is not available, I have called only to be told it is closed during normal business hours. I call over and over again, one person agreed with me and transferred the call to get it resolved, only to hear that it was closed. I wait on hold for hours. Now I am being told that because it is out of warranty, I can't get replacements. I know they are being slammed, but this is ridiculous. GRAY STREAKS
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the holidays coming, I was excited to try the KitchenAid pastry beater for Bowl-Lift stand mixers. However, when I finally had the time to make pie crusts, the KitchenAid Bowl-Lift pastry beater did not fit properly in my KitchenAid mixing bowl. I fit on the shaft of the mixer arm but the beater was not centered in the bowl. I should have looked closer at what mixers it was compatible with as the model I have KSM5PSWW was not listed on the box. I just assumed that because it said it was for bowl-lift stand mixers that it would work on my mixer. I have had my mixer for over 20 years (Yeah, Kitchenaid!!) and did not think they would have changed their mixer, but my mistake! I am sure that it works perfectly with the correct model of mixer as Kitchenaid makes innovative and quality products.

Game changer. I have used this several times since I purchased this beater. Makes a difference in texture of the flour. Easy clean up and ready to use in the next kitchen journey. Best purchase
