An answer to a prayer I never knew I had

I make biscuits a lot (it’s against Southern law not to) and the worst part is cutting the butter with a pastry cutter. It’s the one reason my husband never helped. We got this little baby and he makes himself biscuits every day now! He may find out he doesn’t need me if KitchenAid keeps coming up with brilliant ideas like this. Don’t make it easier to make Croissants and pasta, well, maybe an inexpensive sheeter for croissants, because I will be rendered useless then!

Handy tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of baking year round and this pastry beater has proven itself to be a handy tool to have around for my KitchenAid stand mixer. I have used it a few times now to make perfectly flaky, soft pie crusts. It does a great job of cutting through the cold butter. It fits perfectly, comes very close to touching the bottom and sides of my stainless steel mixer bowl, mixes ingredients beautifully. It has a slick non-stick coating that my doughs slide right off of, and also includes a scraper to easily clear off any remaining dough that may be clinging to the beater. Just like all of my other KitchenAid attachments and appliances, I expect this beater will last for many, many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this KitchenAid Bowl-Lift Pastry Beater to try out and it works great! I used it to make cookies and it not only separated the mixer perfectly, it was much faster than the other beater I had in my mixer. Very super product and easy to clean! Highly recommend anything by KitchenAid!

A Great Pastry Beater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got a KitchenAid pastry beater. In the box you get instructions, a batter scraper, and the beater itself. All are KitchenAid quality and result in a quality pastry. The beater itself is well made and had no problems attaching to our KitchenAid mixer. The beater bars are well-spaced and resulted in a perfectly mixed batter. I'd definitely recommend purchasing it (but, make sure you have a model, listed on the packaging, that is compatible with this mixer). After all, not all KitchenAids are the same. ;)

Sturdy Cuts like butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the beater. It is heavy grade high quality steel, and attached like any other KitchenAid attachment. I used it make chocolate chip cookies. These cookies turn out better if you use cold butter, I dropped the whole stick in and it mixed it. The mixer folded it in quickly and easily. I also used this to shred left over cooked chicken for tacos. It saved me a lot of time. And allowed me to mix my seasons in with the chicken more evenly. Thank you KitchenAid for making another great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty big attachment, so make extra sure that it fits your mixer (it fits many but not all models). Overall it's well-constructed and does a great job of mixing dough for pastries, pizza, etc. It feels more like plastic than metal but definitely durable. I used it to make sweet rolls and it worked really well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pastry beater is so easy to use. It is no hassle to attach to the mixer and also to remove. It is perfect for cake batter and cookie dough. Makes butter and sugar very fluffy for perfect cookies. One tip is when flour is added only mix until flour is incorporated as over mixing may make cookies tough.
