[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this beater a couple weeks ago and I will tell you it's really great. I bake alot, so I need a lot of tools. This particular tool helps out a lot with cakes and pastries. Definitely recommend it really because of the coating on the beater. Seems to do really well.

The only option for a beater attachement

The KitchenAid Pastry Beater is heavy duty and such a high quality attachment. I am not worried about how much dough I have nor do I have to do batches. My dough does not stick to this which makes clean up so much easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pastry beater is the best. I have used it several times. I needed to make a huge amount of chicken dip for a party over the weekend and the beater shredded the chicken up with no effort at all. It was fantastic! I was able to just dump all the ingredients into the bowl after shredding the chicken and stir everything up! I was also able to make pizza dough. The pastry beater works just beautifully. The included scraper was a big help with getting my dough off of the beater. This is a super high quality product that I would recommend to anyone that has a KitchenAid mixer!

The beater is very strong and coated with some material which makes cleaning a breeze. It snaps right into place and fits very well yet easy to remove for cleaning.
