With all stand up mixers I have found I’ve had to stop and scrap the sides of the bowl with a spatula no matter what I was making. This product eliminates the need to do so. I am very happy to have found this product and just in time for all my holiday baking!

Coating Peels Off

Bought these with my new hand mixer about a year ago and just noticed the silicone was peeling off after going through the dishwasher. I thought these were dishwasher safe?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great kitchen aid mixer accessory

It’s of really good quality and gave me a smooth mixture with my batters. I will be using it more often with all my backings. Definitely recommend getting this.

I needed these and didn't know it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these beaters to make some chiffon for pie, and also cake batter for another bake project. I was actually surprised how well they worked. They really help get the batter and chiffon off the bottom of the bowl. Usually I stop the mixer, use a scraper to get the lumps out. I was able to put the beaters on the side and bottom of the bowl without getting that metal on metal sound, and they clean up nice too!

Nice concept but don't recommend

I received this mixer as a Christmas gift last year. I was just mixing a batch of banana bread and noticed a piece of rubber in my mix. Looked at the beaters and sure enough it is coming off. I noticed on the beaters there is more that has come off at some point. This scares me because I do a lot of baking and who knows when the other pieces fell off. I don't have a dishwasher so I wash by hand. Nice concept but switching to metal beaters. I don't recommend.

Easy to use and clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new edge beaters for the KitchenAid hand mixer are super nice. Way better than the ones you get when you purchase the mixer itself.
First off, the silicon makes things come off and wash off very easily. I was able to scrape with the spatula the batter off each beater easily. I tested these immediately by making some pandan Madelines. The process is to use the beaters at high speed for 9-10 minutes while mixing the ingredients so it can get frothy and triple it’s size. Wow, the mixing is very consistent and blends my ingredients very well.
I also like the look and it doesn’t sound like it mixes metal against my other metal. Because of the silicone edges, it’s much “quieter” compared to the regular metal beaters.
After using it, the excess batter literally came right off when it touched the water. I don’t have to scrub or scrape or use my fingers to get it out, it washed off right away. I’m absolutely in love with these, it has shortened the time span of my cleaning and preparing when it comes to baking now.
Now I want more KitchenAid items that have the edge beaters! I bake a lot, and I love making sweets. This cuts down so much time for me. I recommend these to anyone who is a baker or uses a hand mixer often, you will not regret it!!
