Loved them until black coating started coming off

I got these for Christmas (2022) and I loved them and raved about them to friends and family. Then about two weeks ago, I noticed a piece of the black coating had come off in the buttercream icing I was mixing. I peeled it off and thought no big deal. But then it did it again last night. And because the icing was chocolate, there was no way I'd find the pieces so I couldn't use the icing I made. I'm going to try to peel the coating off so I can keep using them since they are only a couple months old. Has anyone else had this issue?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast, quiet mixing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these silicone tipped mixers. Aside from their sleek look, I find that they speed up my mixing time substantially and make it easy to clean the side of the bowl while doing so. They are also much quieter than the metal mixers I have. With the silicone, I don’t have to worry about scratching up any of my dishes either. They can be slightly more difficult to clean, but I think they are worth it. I would definitely recommend these mixers to anyone with a kitchen aid hand mixer.

Exactly what I needed!

I love my flex edge paddle for my stand mixer, so I was super excited to see them finally available as a hand mixer version. They work hard and do exactly what you’d expect. I get a cleaner, smoother mix, with less spray on the sides. I don’t have to use a spatula to scrape the sides anymore, and that makes me so happy. Grab these for your utensil drawer, especially if you do a lot of mixing.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of these new KitchenAid Flex Edge beaters. They allow me to clean up easier and scrape the sides of the bowl completely when mixing. They're a nice upgrade from the regular metal beaters that came with my mixer. NOTE: These are metal, but have a rubber coating on them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these beaters to make some chiffon for pie, and also cake batter for another bake project. I was actually surprised how well they worked. They really help get the batter and chiffon off the bottom of the bowl. Usually I stop the mixer, use a scraper to get the lumps out. I was able to put the beaters on the side and bottom of the bowl without getting that metal on metal sound, and they clean up nice too!

It also genuinely makes it so my stainless steel bowls aren’t being hit with metal on metal, which admittedly makes me happy to eliminate the amount of scratching that occurs on my nice bowls. I am very happy with this item!

Great guards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a little smaller and less heavy duty than I expected, but works great on small batches or liquids, and the guards do great to keep from scratching up the bowl. Great for whipping cream, or small cakes or wetter batters. The guards really are invaluable if you want to avoid the scratching that happens to all bowls when you use a mixer.

Definitely Great Beaters to Have!

They incorporate the batter much better and help scrap it off the bottom. As a bonus, you don’t have the metal scraping sound when mixing and your stainless pans will not be scratched.
