Garmin for life?

I’ve been an Apple Watch user since gen 1. Switched to Garmin with the Tactix 7 pro and I was instantly hooked. It took a second to understand the buttons, the app, and other ins and outs but when I did I saw the value of the Garmin brand. I use prolly 10% of its capabilities but that 10% is A LOT. I will say that the touch screen on all the 7 Models helped me with the switch over but it’s not a deal breaker. It does help when scrolling through menus though. Overall, love the design, the flashlight, the glass, the water face marketplace, yada yada yada.

Amazing

So far I’m at about 3 weeks with my Tactix Pro, and have to say it’s amazing. I’ve used it for skiing one weekend and the next plotting grids at the base. Great watch

The SW is great rest is like Coros Vertix

I am unsure the price is worth it, my Coros Vertix had many features lacking and leaves much to be desired compared to this watch computer.. but i am unsure of the SW is worth the double price compared to the Coros. Unless you are a professional that exclusively uses a special feature in the SW of the Garmin you cant get anywhere else i think its not worth the money honestly.

Other smartwatches can't touch this

This is everything you'll ever need or want in a smartwatch/fitness tracker except cellular. Is it overkill for most people(myself included)? Yes. Is it worth it. Also yes. It's pretty big, but not bulky at all. I have smallish wrists and it doesn't look ridiculous or oversized and is very comfortable to wear. The canvas band is very comfortable, but of course soaks stuff up and stays wet for awhile. The silicone band is nice, but for me it doesn't quite fit comfortably. I need an in between buckle hole, it's either a little too loose or a little too tight. The features and capabilities are awesome and very customizable to whatever your wants and needs are. The solar is far better than the Delta was, but still won't completely power the watch. The battery life is also a massive improvement over the Delta. I get about 2 weeks out of it with night time pulse ox on and recording a few activities a week. I don't love the charge port, but there are aftermarket charge stands available and you could probably make one yourself out of the factory cord if you wanted to. If you don't mind not having cellular without your phone connected, there's no competitor in this price range, or at all really, that makes a smartwatch this durable, with solar, and with the water resistance this thing has. Overall, yeah, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Great watch!

One year review nice features use the watch daily. Black paint rubbing off and glass crystal has a scratch and replacement wristband is very expensive. Large wrist works but not too much strap left just enough to secure! Strap should be at lest 1/2 inch longer maybe one inch! Depending on the functions you use depends on how long the charge lasts. I charge it almost every 15 days after a full charge.
