Some glitches - Expected more

I upgraded my old Tactix Charlie with the Tactix 7 Pro. I love the solar function, better display, touchscreen, and O2 sensor over the old model, but there are a few basic glitches and missing features that really bug me:
- there is no function to keep the hands for the seconds displayed at all time. A light tap on the face to brings the backlight on and will show a clock face without a second hand. You have to move your hand firmly for the hand to appear. Perhaps it's me, I find this really annoying.
- when the hand for the seconds disappears, it botches the display of the center dot for the axis of the hands. (See picture.) Hope this can be fixed with a firmware update.
- I liked to have the calendar widget showing me the time of my next meeting at all time on the Charlie's face. It is not available on the Tactix 7. To see the calendar, I have to swipe the screen to view the Calendar in Glance. No more quick look at the watch to see my next meeting time or appointment.
- Finally, the tactix 7 lacks the rugged look of the Charlie, which I liked.
I am giving a 4 star for the overall product but I have to say I expected greater refinement for a watch in this price range.

Love this watch!

I've had it about a month now. I had the previous version of this watch for about a month before I returned it to get this one, so I guess I could say this is my second Garmin watch. I love the new features and improved battery life. This is also my first smart watch, and it's great getting to look down and get updates/notices from my phone. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it too!

I wanted to get the 7X but then the Tactix was launched and then it was a no brainer for me. Happy with my selection, its full of great features. If you’re thinking of getting the Tactix don’t hesitate.

Really happy with built quality and materials. Hardware is second to none. However, a few times the watch has by itself rebooted and all data is lost from the last time it was synced with the app. Garmin needs to work on software glitch. I had the fenix 7x prior to the tactix but I didn’t have this same problems with that one.

Awesome watch

I bought this watch about a month ago. I’m so happy I did. It took me a little while to get used to wearing it, but now I hardly notice it. It’s a big watch. It’s tough, accurate, has great features. I find myself paying way more attention to what my body is doing and make adjustments as needed. Expensive watch but worth every penny

The best smart watch I ever had.

I bought this TACTIX 7 a month ago online and the shipping was exactly as described.
This is an amazing watch and very light. I am using 24 hours and health monitoring is accurate. I double-checked my treadmill workouts, for example, and my calories burned and heart rate were accurate with the LifeFitness treadmill. The battery is a big difference and if you don't use the multi-gps band, it lasts around 20 days with all the settings I made. The flashlight is really useful and the backgrounds are also accurate. I am using the nylon band and it started to have a little bad smell because I am not removing it during shower so I will change this daily practice. My preview watch had a remold display but honestly it is not bothering me now on tactic not having it. Overall I am very happy and I expect this watch to last for a long time and working properly because it is not a cheap one. The future will show...
