Easy to figure out all the features

I had other smart watches and I was hesitant to but nothing but an Apple Watch (I have one). The Garmin user interface takes some time to learn, it’s like a new car. Anyway after 3 weeks I decided to keep it. I like the silicon strap better than nylon one that comes already attached out of the box.

Don’t regret replacing fénix 7 and Delta D2 PX for tactix 7.
The only suggestion is that you should make a 47mm tactix7 pro.

Love the watch only areas I am not happy about is the solar charging needs work. I do not see the battery % go up in sunlight at all.

A bit dissapointed

I bought the Tactix 7 to be an upgrade to my delta solar. The 7 is less robust and not mil spec. In the end, I kept my delta solar and gave the 7 to my wife

A whole new world of insights at a glance

I bought this particular model for the tactical feature set along with the fact that it uses the toughest glass and case material. It's a smart looking watch. The surprise for me is that it is not only smart looking, but very smart acting in terms of fitness features. It has a robust capability to calculate vO2 max. The maximal theoretical rate of your body's oxygen consumption. This is a marker of your life's trajectory. When it reaches zero, you're dead. You want this to be as high as possible within your age range now, so you'll have as long a life expectancy trajectory as possible. It's able to make this calculation using either biking or running dynamics assessments. Usually you'd have to spend a couple of hours of very expensive lab time with a mask strapped to your face running your hardest on a treadmill. Having this number available at a glance on the watch face is incredible and powerfully motivating. The workout guidance the watch provides to increase vO2 max and cardiorespiratory fitness is next level. Tracking exercise is esy. I've already added the Garmin HRM in order to obtain access to advanced running dynamics. HRV tracking in order assess performance readiness and sleep recovery is extremely insightful as well. Battery life is another strong point vs other competing products on the market.

Good overall

This watch has crashed on me multiple times now, and can be laggy at times. Sleep tracking is not accurate but that is not the watch’s fault. Battery life is decent, not getting as much time as advertised though. These issues should be addressed for the price point. Other than that, i love the watch. It does a great job 90% of the time.

Best one yet

This is the best one so far. Very nice watch, lots of features. This is my third Taxtic, I also have the Charly and Delta Solar. Only thing I don't like is the lug pins aren't removable, I like buying custom watchbands and the pins don't come out, frustrating.
