Much more than expected

When my last smartwatch died (Samsung) I knew I wanted to give the Quatix a try next because of the integration it has with my MFDs on my boat. All of those features are absolutely amazing but what I didn't realize is how much of a body monitor it is. It has been able to pinpoint a few issues I needed to address, and it has helped me focus on a healthier life in general. All the data this watch can give for your body metrics combined with the Garmin boat data and Fusion integration has more than surpassed my expectations.

Key Card to Start and get familiar

just received it and launched it, but it's a bit the mess , got lost .. and need a bit too much of intuitivity to find my way. A key card , summarising what the buttons do help here , and maybe the screen protector should do it . My 2 cents

Almost perfect sailing watch, but one shortcoming

I race sailboats as a hobby, and upgraded to the Quatix 7 Sapphire from a Quatix 6. The watch is better in almost every regard. The materials are very classy, the touchscreen is well integrated into the UI, and the in general the AMOLED display is a great. But sadly in bright direct sunlight is a clear step backwards from the MIP display, which would get brighter and easier to read the brighter the sun. It is very easy to totally 'wash-out' the AMOLED in direct sunlight making it impossible to read. I'm keeping it because overall the watch is so nice, but is a step backwards for boaters.

a little disappointed

I bought this sailing watch for its racing features. Love the count down timer and start line features, It is impossible to enter a course or route. Easy if your a runner or hiker. Lat Lon on the water. no way. Garmin explorer simple to use but not for water. If I had a handheld Garmin gps unit I wouldn't need the watch. disappointed in the sailing watch that is better at doing anything but sailing.
