I have had Garmin GPS running watches for almost 20 years. I am amazed at this latest watch and all the features it has. I must admit I am becoming obsessed looking at all the data. Each morning there is a report that is very helpful. Definitely recommend this to someone who is serious about running, cycling and swimming. Can't wait to see if they can improve on this.

Great Running Watch

I bought this to replace a Fenix 6S Pro, I liked the Fenix, but the screen on the S series is too small, and I was struggling to see the data (I started using readers after buying the watch); I like the Fenix series, but my primary usage is running, some other features are nice to have, but not a must for me, I'm pleased with my purchase, so far, there is nothing I miss from my previous watch, on the contrary I think the GPS accuracy is better on the FR255

Awesome watch but

I love everything about this watch but it won't even see my Google nest speaker nevermind connect to it. One reason i bought it was for the bluetooth audio functionality.

The watch is a little tricking to set up and the manual is kind of useless. I use the Run Walk Run method for my running, thankfully there are YouTube videos that are pretty good that helped me set that up. I don't like the idea that you have to get Spotify premium to get music. All that being said I really like the watch it just takes a while to figure it out.

I bought the 255 Music about 5 weeks ago , and I have enjoyed the functions of the watch and remembering what button works what function. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Received for Christmas 2022! The watch is amazing and has a second-to-none battery life. As a previous Apple Watch owner, I'm fully converted to Team Garmin! Look no further if you want an incredibly versatile and powerful running tool!
P.S., this watch is also great for everything outside of running (ie., cycling, HIIT, swimming etc.)
