Simply the best out there

This is just the best watch for the real athlete in you! Listen, had an Apple Watch forever, and the anxiety of that watch drove me insane with endless buzzing, features, and of course the terrible battery life. If you are an athlete or someone that wants the high level features for performance, V02, music, and seven sleep for any of the following: running, weights, and almost every other sport, this watch is for you!
I had my doubts for so long, and I think garmin is all I can use from now on.

I really love this watch. As far as battery life, data sets, and functionality, it is the best on the market. I gave it four stars instead of five because it is not very intuitive. If you have ever used any other brand of smartwatch, you will have to learn how to navigate the features on this from scratch, and I found that process to be cumbersome and tedious. There also isn’t really much of a “wow factor” compared to competitors in this price range; but that also isn’t the point of this watch. If you prioritize battery life, performance, data, and functionality over design, this is definitely a product for you.

Wonderful features, no fuss!!

My last Garmin was a Forerunner 620, lasted 8 years in perfect condition and then the touch screen just didn't work one day. I was training for the 2022 NYC Marathon, so I borrowed a Fenix 5 Plus for a couple of months. That one felt too big on me and was just too much of a gadget. Bought my new Forerunner 255 Music and I absolutely love it. It handles the features I need and having music in my watch just rocks!!!

Lighter than the Fenix with most of the bells...

I had the Fenix 5+ but wasn't using all of its features, plus it was a bit thick to wear at night (female with smaller wrists). I bought the 255 music and love its thinner feature plus all the software upgrades it offers! The algorithms it uses to assess my workout effort and recovery are a bit frustrating as it keeps telling me it was 'unproductive' when I actually felt good. Assuming this will right itself after a bit more time.

Enjoy the software, not the buttons

All the features I wanted, but the buttons feel cheaply manufactured. They all feel different when pushed, some double-click before activating and grind on the way back up.
