Inconsistent hr reading. Strap is the same tension, same spot on my wrist, but still isn’t consistent

Have been a user of the Garmin running and cycling ecosystem for years, starting off with the Forerunner 301 I had no doubt that the 255 Music was going to be another great step in the evolution of the Forerunner series. The added capability to program it via the phone is a gamer changer in simplicity and ease of use. I would have given it a five star except the for the buttons. When engaged I found that they are not as smooth or quiet as I would have expected compared to my 235 and 735xt. The 255 Music functionality is not compromised and overlooking the small button issue it is a great addition to the Forerunner ecosystem.

I bought my watch a month ago and it helps so much. I was always a Apple Watch person till I wa suggested for a garmin and the garmin watch is much better.

Great Watch Overall

My watch arrived a few weeks ago and overall I love it. I have went on several runs with it and it tracks everything perfect. It is super comfortable and easy to use. My only complaint is that sometimes the Bluetooth to my headphones randomly disconnects, or cuts out on runs. If this issue was corrected I would give it 5/5.

So Much Better than Expected

I’ve been using a Garmin for about a month and am so much more impressed with it than my Apple for tracking. I love the sleep insights. The battery holds up over long runs. My Apple died twice during races.
Set up has been a learning curve. When I’ve sought help from Garmin it’s always a list of links spit out without actually listening to my question. But I persevered and figured most things out on my own.
It picks up the signal quickly when I select an activity. I have had the dreaded battery issue one time. I did a hard reset and that got rid of whatever caused to glitch. I do fear it could happen in a race but so far it was an isolated incident.
I am actually wearing two watches because of the lack of cellular connectivity on my Garmin. I can’t see giving up the Apple until the Garmin can receive and respond to texts. But for tracking runs I think it unsurpassed.

Awesome battery, features and ease of use

I love this watch! It does everything I could ask and is easy to use. Amazing battery life and the music via blue tooth is great.
