Love the features not the look and screen quality

I got my forerunner for Christmas after I have been running consistently for about 3 years with fitbit. I love all the functions that it has that I haven't had a chance to utilize before like planning your own trainings and buzzing at you when you're not going according to plan. That said, I am not a huge fan of the look as it is very "plasticky" but not in a outstanding way, more like boy's watch from the '90. Also the screen resolution is dissapointing. I wish I knew it was that bad and upgrade to amoled screen....

Clear display and loads of features.

I replaced my old Vivoactive HR3 with the Forerunning 255S. While I have been given the gift of more features, I do miss the touch screen. The buttons nor system are overly complicated so learning the features and which buttons control what feature is easy. I love the bright display and the colors are fantastic. What's most astonishing to me is how light weight the watch is compared to my Vivoactive. I'm glad for the upgrade and like the additional features on my Connect app.

Love it for connecting to Strava. I mainly use it for tracking runs and walks, but also use if for bike riding. I've even used it for open water swimming. I wish the GPS didn't have to be turned on on my phone in order to get the temperature to show up on the watch face, but at least there's an option to set a zip code and get the temperature there. Would buy again and definitely recommend for anyone tracking workouts or enjoys getting stats like heart rate, sets, and stairs.

This Forerunner 255s was an upgrade from a previous forerunner. I wanted something for triathlons and longer battery life. My previous watch didn't last through my 70.3 (granted I am a back of the pack kind of racer) So far I like the 255s, it has a lot of features that my 45 did not. I have not used it during a race yet.

Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'

Seems like I never hardly have to charge this watch! It easily runs a week before I have to do anything and that's with numerous workouts. I'm not easy on watches as they get dunked, hit and knocked around. This guy doesn't seem to mind as it never misses a beat.

I've had the watch for a month, and I'm very happy with it, because it adapts exactly to the physical activities I do, and since it syncs with the IPhone it's excellent!
