AMAZING

switched from the Apple Watch to this and I will never be going back. The battery life on this watch is incredible. The accuracy of tracking my runs when compared to the Apple Watch is way better. It allows you to calibrate your watch to the treadmill which is a really nice feature.

Bought my first ever Garmin watch and I love it! I would say it pretty accurate for the mileage. Was able to link my Strava to it so no need to start both! I’m so happy I went with this and not an Apple Watch

So Much Better Than Fitbit!

The Garmin Forerunner 255S replaced my Fitbit Charge 5. I was a loyal Fitbit user for years, but numerous significant issues led me to search for a better product. I have had my Garmin for about a month and am absolutely loving it. My research paid off. The quality and quantity of data is SO much better and I receive helpful notices that assist me in increasing positive activities based on my readings. I previously logged my nutrition via the Fitbit app, but I switched to MyFitnessPal and was thrilled to discover that they can share my calories, etc. with Garmin. MyFitnessPal’s database and ease of use are far superior to the Fitbit app which frequently froze or shut down while I was trying to log my food intake. My only wish is that I had switched to Garmin years ago! I highly recommend Garmin and MyFitnessPal!

Exactly What I needed

I needed to replace my Garmin Forerunner 35. Which served me well for many years. I want my new watch to track multiple activities, particularly Pool and Open Water Swim. This watch does that and more. I am now tracking hiking, cardio, strength and yoga. The watch is a nice size, not too big for my small wrist. Not too hard to figure out the buttons, and how to select workouts. I did wait to get the watch on sale, which was a big plus on my limited income. I absolutely love this watch

Great Watch

I purchased this watch over a month go and it was an upgrade from a 245. I love the additional features and the morning report it gives me. The satellite finder seems to be faster than in the 245, so I don't feel like I have to stand outside so long before the watch is ready to go. With the enhanced information technology, I feel like I get better recommendations for workout from the watch. I know I'm just getting to know all the capabilities on this watch and I look forward to learning and playing more with all it can do!

I bought this a few weeks ago after my Sense just up and quit working. I refused to go back to Fitbit or Google products after they did us wrong. The Forerunner 255S is everything that I have wanted in a tracker/smartwatch. I wasn't planning on loving it to be honest, but I'm obsessed. The features are great! My only complaint is the appearance. I work in a professional setting and it isn't very pretty.
That being said, the quality is beyond amazing and the connectivity compared to Google/fitbit is in a whole other realm. Definitely worth the cost, but I'm glad I didn't go for any of the others because I don't know that I would use any additional features. I love that I have the training, maps, tracking, music, etc.

Great upgrade from old Forerunner 35

Expanded capabilities. Downloaded scenic watchmaker that adds lot of info on face. Very satisfied. Deal breaker for me over Samsung smartwatch was superior water resistance and longer lasting battery. Who wants something else to charge every night!
