Lots of problems

Love the watch; i love the morning reviews, but lots of problems.
1) heart rate keeps dropping to zero
2) intermittently gets notifications
3) now it doesn’t charge after having it for one month

So far so good

The Fr 955 replaced my COROS apex pro- the 955 solar and the Garmin connect really help keep me on track and the preloaded plans keep pushing me more- great for cycling and swimming- bought the solar to offset battery drain - I don’t think it makes that much difference to the battery but not disappointed down 63% in 5 days - but use gps and workouts daily for 1hr+

Bought the Forerunner 955 solar with hopes that I wouldn’t need another watch for years to come and I plan on keeping this one. Tells me everything I wish to know from my accurate bike rides, sleep, and to when I am ready to train.

Love it, but confused by the solar charging

I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and love it, but I’m still trying to figure out the solar charging. Even after extended periods of time in the sun/high solar intensity reading on the watch, I still haven’t seen the battery percentage actually go up, but it definitely seems to help as I’ve been getting very good battery life. It it storing up power that offsets future usage?

Loving this watch!

I'm completely in love with the new 955 solar and all of its features. I'm especially loving the touch screen and the extra metrics regarding recovery and readiness. I love the idea of the new Stamina metric but am still figuring out how to apply it in every day life! Still waiting on an HRV readiness score, but it does measure it each night and is accumulating data. I am not personally out in the sun a whole lot,, but when I am it does either maintain the current charge % or bump it slightly. Based on this, I wouldn't say you can rely 100% on solar charging. It's more of a nicity than anything for me. I still have to plug it in each week. Highly recommend the upgrade!

Simply the best running watch

Everything about the watch is great. I upgraded from Apple Watch to Garmin and I don’t miss the Apple Watch even once. I run marathons and this watch is simply the best. It looks great on my hand and I’ve bought extra bands in different colors to make it even more exciting. Running stats are very helpful and the Watch is overall very easy to use. It took me hardly 2 days to get used to it. I’m in love with it. Only issue is that I wish the Watch can auto sync with my watch without me doing it manually once a while during the day. Sometimes I try to check the weather and it says I’ll have to sync my phone. If garmin can make the integration better , enhance the software with more features it will do a world of good for them.
