Brutal funcionamiento

La razón por la que no le doy la quinta estrella es porque tengo problemas con mis audífonos bluethoth bose, se desconectan a mitad de actividad.

Nice interface. Battery life questionable.

I bought this watch as an upgrade to my 945. Specifically to get better battery life for some Ironman races later this year. I like the minor improvements in the graphics and interfaces. However I’m skeptical and disappointed in the battery life. I’ve used it enough now to think that it’s no better than my previous watch which is 3-4 years old and May be worse.

Great features and overall function of the device. Used it for a 50K and the performance of the watch was solid.

Bug in the display
on July 13, 2022

The watch generally is great and indeed you feel the upgrade from previous models. One comment is about the phone connection. On the watch display is shows permanently that the phone is disconnected while it is connected and possible to receive notifications. Might be software bug or so.

So far so good

I have used an Apple Watch for my fitness tracking for many years and recently made the switch. As far as fitness tracking and feedback this is a far superior watch. My bank is not cooperating with Garmin pay yet so I do miss that feature of Apple Pay and Apple not cooperating with Garmin on text responses does sort of stink. All in all, I bought the watch to track my fitness and give me a more detailed look at my training which the watch far exceeds. If you are coming from an Apple watch, the Garmin takes some getting used to as it’s not as simple to navigate as the Apple.

It's awesome

The solar powered is definitely worth it. It seems to extend the overall battery life! Also really like that you can control the music playing on your phone with the watch while running. The map is also really nice to get a sense of where you are. I wish Garmin would add a beach running mode!

Total fitness watch
on July 20, 2022
Posted by: Firecapt60
Got this a month ago. Had to upgrade from a dying 935. The watch is a lot more accurate in the data it collects from sleep data, stress loads, intensity, and steps. Compared to my 935 it also has a ton more features that all work together and help compliment each other. The amount of activity types it has is very impressive and most of them have all of their own metrics they track. It recommends breathing excercises for when you are at a high stress level and the morning report and each metric the watch measures gives recommendations on workouts, recovery, rest, and sleep to help fulfill a total healthy lifestyle. Not just fitness for sport watch. The solar helps the battery last about two weeks for me only because I work inside. When I am outside on the weekends the battery only drops about 1 or 2% per day with doing activities. The band is better and has grooves that help the buckle grip the band, not just the clasp. So far I am very impressed. Lastly, you almost don’t need as many sensors as before because the heart rate is very accurate now. I have used the running dynamics pod and my bike sensors and it finds them and sets them up a lot easier than on my 935.

Some new features include increased battery (e.g. up to 40 hours), stamina data that can be affected by fueling options, training readiness information, heat acclimation data that is updated, and more sleep data.
