I bought this a month ago as I have begun getting deeper into marathon training….
I wanted something that offered me an all in one package.. and the Garmin Forerunner 955 does exactly that…
No need for a million different apps to train and track… Plus the battery life is amazing… it’s only had to sit on the charger once over the last month…
I haven’t had a chance to really see the solar charging work, as it’s been pretty gloomy since fall hit…
I love the white with black accent color.

Great functions!

This watch has great functions and more importantly is compatible with my 1040 bike computer. It’s upsetting that Garmin makes you upgrade all device because you upgrade one. Hoping these two products last me a while.

This watch does everything! Love the suggested workouts, the long battery life and solar supplement, as well as the Morning Report. So many more things this watch can do that I am unlocking and exploring. My only regret is that I didn't grab this sooner!

Love the Battery Life.

I will say that I am still trying to figure out the features of the watch but love that I have onboard music, an interval timer, pace pro, and Bluetooth capabilities that the watch handles wonderfully! It also gives me my heart rate. With all these things running, a 5-mile run only used 13% of the battery. It is a solar watch. I have to say this is great!! I am running a half marathon at the end of February with my niece. She and I both have Apple Watches but mine doesn’t have sufficient battery life to last the entire race. I figured out that if I got the free version of Strava, I could get it to pair with my Nike app on my Apple Watch and after I sync the Garmin with my Watch via Strava, the data also shows up in the Apple Fitness portion of my Apple Watch and my never, husband and I can still send each other cheers. I used the videos that were available on YouTube to help. I am really happy with my Garmin !

Came for the solar and altometer staying for...

Oh man I love this thing. I really wanted a watch with an altometer for hiking, and figured the solar part would be fun too. But man, I love the "training readiness," "body battery" and other metrics. I often push myself too hard and these help me understand how my body is really feeling
