Excellent Upgrade

I went from the 945 to the 955 Solar and the 955 by far is superior. I had a lot of issues with the 945, connecting to GPS being the most annoying. The 955 connected within seconds of activating. The first week, the battery lasted 9 days which is also fantastic. I also love all the new added features, my morning report is great. The metrics seem to be more accurate than my last watch. I highly recommend the 955 Solar.

Love the battery life and touch screen

I bought this watch just over a month ago to replace my fenix 5S from 2019. I regretted the Fenix -heavy watch, horrible battery life, the charger broke 3x. This watch is so much better! Light, long battery life, touch screen, workout suggestions. However, the workout suggestions seem a bit conservative with respect to pace (up to 3 min slower than a hard workout). I like the sleep tracking, but even with the lighter watch (compared to the Fenix), I have trouble sleeping with a watch on. I may purchase an alternative tracker (woop, oura) now that I have learned to appreciate sleep tracking. Even after a month I still wake up in the middle of the night wanting to take off my watch. I have tried turning the watch so the face is located on my inner wrist which has helped a little.

I just got the watch today and after a few hours the backlight gesture stopped working . The backlight only worked if you push a button or touch the screen. This is a software glitch that many people have with this watch. I'm returning it for a full refund.
