Great GPS Smartwatch

The 955 is a nice upgrade from by Garmin Forerunner 235. In the first week, I started using upgraded features for training, running, and more. HIIT feature helps me push myself and monitor my pace. Morning Report is a nice daily training goal reminder. I like how the watch face illuminates automatic by holding it up. This helps a lot to see my pace and mileage running at night with the short winter days.

I loved all the features and really wanted to be able to keep the watch. I was upgrading from the FR245 and never had issues with the wrist heart rate. But the FR955 wouldn’t read through my tattoo, so sadly returning

My 945 broke and this is definitely a step up. Love all the features and the solar feature helps some with the battery life. Not overwhelming but definitely better. Love it!!

A plethora of features

I bought this because I am training for a triathlon. I always hated digital watches, but I've now realized the hype about Garmin. I have had it for about a month and have realized there isn't much this watch won't tell you about your body and your habits, activities, sleep, training readiness, etc.

Upgrade all the way around

I have had every single model of Apple Watch and after getting tired of charging daily and breaking constantly I went to the Garmin instinct 2. This was a good watch and a month of battery life was incredible but after using it for a few months I decided I wanted a better display and more features. So I went to the Garmin Forerunner 955 solar and this thing is great. It has a great screen, tough, way better data rich features vs the Apple Watch and looks great.
