Amazing running watch!

The Forerunner 955 Solar is the best watch for all levels of running. I have used it for sprints, recovery runs, easy runs, long runs, you name it. Paired with the HRM Pro+ heart rate monitor you get the full spectrum of training data needed to be the best runner you can be.

Fantastic all around watch with awesome features

This is the best running watch I have ever purchased. Its features out perform most smart watches by far. Even if your a moderate swimmer/runner, this is a fantastic watch. I have charged it once this past month. The amount of functionality, beyond being a running watch is amazing. Being that I am a watch collector with some very expensive watches, I wear this one 95% of the time.

I upgraded from a 735xt. This is a great watch. I use it for swimming, cycling, running, rowing, strength training, walking, yoga, breath work, steps, music. I’ve found it to be very accurate all around and easy to use. Definitely recommend it.

Great watch! With a lacking Screen

I loved this watch, the feel is great, its light enough that I forget I'm wearing it, and the strap is probably the best I've tried on any GPS watch.
The screen is lacking though. Coming from a Venu 2, I missed the nicer screen and the way notification pop up. On the 955, there would be a screen that shows u the app logo, and then the actual message which was very annoying. Felt more like a pager than an actual notification.
I ended up returning it and getting the Epix 2, but miss the feel of the forerunner a lot. The Epix feels significantly heavier, strap is not comfortable at all. But the screen is similar to the Venu, and basically does everything the 955 does, but with better resolution and more screen real-estate to take advantage of (more map area shown, more data fields on bike screen, significantly better screen)

Basically, I wish the 955 had the Venu 2 screen. I love the light plastic body, but the screen resolution is not good enough for what I'm used to having on a GPS watch at this point.

Great, lighter and useful.

I have bought the Forerunner 955 solar for 5 months. I love it... very helpful to improve running and swimming. The battery very good to forget to charge every day. For now, the best watch I have had, my best friend to face my first half marathon.

Great lightweight option for bio data collection

I waited until the first time the battery fully drained to review this product - and wow did it take a while. My first charge was 22 days after I put it on. The app syncs perfectly so far, and I love the watchface options and apps you can download. I get the same information that I would with the Whoop I had, with less bugs and hardware issues and a much longer battery life. Add in the GPS, solar charging and emergency options for when you’re off grid and this watch is significantly better than other options on the market. It’s waterproof, very durable and you can review your data on the watch or on the app/pc. It’s my new favorite so far!
