Fantastic Ecosystem and Hardware

I purchased the 255s Music about a month ago and it has been fantastic. The watch is solid and is a perfect size from my opinion. The Garmin ecosystem provides so many features and so much data that it can be slightly overwhelming at first, but the data is incredibly useful. I made the switch from a Fitbit Versa 2 and do not regret the move at all.

I like the the new activities

With this watch all of the new activities are awesome but the strength training feature isn’t that accurate. Overall great watch.

i got this as a Christmas present, so this isn;t a long term review. I haven't been able to use all of the features yet, no where close. The personalization seems to be fairly easy. At this point the only complaint that I have is the heart rate sensor is a bit off. I ride a bike and wear a HR strap that is bluetooth connected to my bike computer, also a Garmin. a couple of times the HR would match close enough that I was happy, (within 2-3 BPM). But I had to wear it rather tight. Lately it hasn't come close, my HR would be 140-150 and yet my watch would be around 100. Been like this since it got updated several a week or two ago.

Just Getting Started

So far I really like this new watch. Many more features than my Fitbit Blaze. I am just learning how to use the features, and how it can integrate with my Garmin Edge cycling computer. I look forward to learning all the features of this watch, and how to set it up to best work for me. There are so many setting options, so the watch can really be customized.

The watch I didn't know I needed

My partner bought this for me for Christmas to support my running, and at first I thought I would just use it to track my mileage and pace on long runs or for interval work, but there are so many other features such as sleep monitoring etc. that it has truly given me a lot of insight on my behaviors and how to lead a more healthy life.

Watch locked up first week I hadit and customer service unable to resolve issue. Sent it back to garmin.

Just a little better

I upgraded to this watch about a month ago and have enjoyed its sleek look and longer battery life. I run everyday and needs that battery to last. My 245 was starting to die quick so I’m happy with the upgrade. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it restarts when I try to program an interval session on it. I can upload my interval sessions from my iPhone to the watch so it isn’t impossible to do workouts but it isn’t as convenient.

Good daily energy monitoring

I am a runner and this is so much more functional than my Apple Watch. I am also a triathlete and like the multisport option. I love the sleep tracking and body battery features to track my energy throughout the day. It's good to have exercise durations and rest periods suggested because on my own it's hard to find a balance. One time my watch detected I was stressed and took me through a breathing exercise.
