I use this to track runs, training tips and every day use for phone notifications. This watch exceeds all of my expectations.

Extremely accurate GPS, chose this over the 245 due to the triathlon/open water swimming feature

Very reliable and love the battery life. I use the watch for tracking my bikes, runs, hikes, etc. The starting band was uncomfortable (personal preference) so I opted for a different one. Otherwise I wear it all the time without fuss. Would highly recommend it for someone in the entry to intermediate stage for recreation activities. Make sure to take advantage of all the bio metrics it tracks too.

Everything has worked well in this compact watch.
I wish Garmin would include their indoor climbing activity for this watch as well as it is basic functionality that surely the watch can support. Otherwise the watch has performed well in all other sports and daily functions.

I bought the Forerunner 255s music watch when to replace the Garmin Venu Sq after I signed up to pace my sister for 26 miles on her 100 miler about 9 months ago. I really enjoy the slightly smaller size for women's wrist without compromising the ability to see your pace/HR/numbers while you're running. The battery lasts me a solid 7 days with me running between 25-45 miles a week weather dependent. It's really easy to go from pace to HR to time while running by the press of a button. One of my favorite features, other than tracking Vo2 max and HRV status, is that your watch will recommend running workouts based on your fitness level and where you are in your recovery process. Not having to come up with my own threshold or sprint workouts has been amazing, definitely helps to just get outside the door and having your watch beep whenever you're supposed to move to the next phase of the workout. Also, it seems to adapt to your pace on a treadmill so the more you run on it, the more accurate your pace shows up and less calibrating you have to do! Though for outdoors their updated gps satellite system has been fantastic!! I definitely recommend this watch to anyone who is looking to get into running more and needs the battery life/access to music while outdoors!

Love this watch, as a petite woman it's the perfect size for me. I use this as an every day watch and for strength training, running, cycling, skiing, etc. and it seems to work great. Haven't really tried the music capabilities yet. My only downside would be the garmin software, I find the insights like body battery and sleep quality are generally accurate but I wish the workout suggestions incorporated more than just running (unless there's an option for that that I haven't figured out). Overall, stoked that I bought it and excited to train for my next race with it.
