Really Disappointed

Per other reviewers, the case is flimsy and does not stand up. The case constantly falls down under it's own weight. Perhaps Otterbox shouldn't have “cheaped” out on the magnet to keep the case upright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful and really sturdy. I really like the transparent back on this model, as well as the ability to use it as a stand. Nice and slim, not too bulky. I only use OtterBox on my phone, so having a similar tough case that I trust for my iPad is fantastic.

New design isn’t as good

The Otterbox Symmetry 360 elite is way overegineered case. The previous design with the flap was perfect. The current pencil tray breaks to easily and is a pain to use. Also the stand feature isn’t as strong as other cases. The previous version of this case was the best on the market. I’d they go back to that design I’ll get for every iPad I ever own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Purchase

Not sure why this only has 3 stars. Many of these negative reviews are bogus.
I have had this case for a year now and this is a great case and protects the iPad extremely well. It has a sleek design and does not add a lot of bulk like traditional Otterboxes. As a pilot and graduate student I am constantly using my IPad and especially the Apple Pencil. As iPad owners we all know that the magnet holding the apple pencil is not always reliable (have dropped and lost the pencil many times) but this case does a fantastic job securing the pencil to the case.
This case gives me the peace of mind when I am using it and I never have to worry about normal wear and tear. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY THE PRICE. It has been worth every penny and you will not have to buy another case.
