This is my second iPad case from Otterbox. I really like how it fits and protects. However the back connection to the cover began to loosen and lose function after a year of daily use. I really expected better from Otterbox since this is such an expensive case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not useful as a stand

The case is disappointingly basic, especially after spending as much on it as I did. The most disappointing thing is the stand feature short or tall is that it will collapse very easily. Somewhat usable on a table but will not work in a lap by any means.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pencil Holder comes off

This is not a great product. When removing the iPad from the holder, the pencil holder slot came off, and there was no way to reattach it. Very poor mechanical design. And so, I decided to call Otter's 'awesome' customer service for a replacement and have been on hold for over 15 minutes.
