i got this as a gift and had only 4 months and the screen has lifted up from the phone base to were i have blinking screen and half of the screen is black. i would not buy this phone it is a cheap made phone and due to me not getting it with warranty cause i didnt purchase im now with out a phone that is functionable.so dont waste money on this phone .its to high to be so cheaply made

Already on my Replacement Phone

So I was looking forward to my flip phone, assuming that they had ironed out the issues with the screen. THEY HAVE NOT! Within 6 months the screen was separating at the crease and letting in dust/dirt particles. They did replace the phone as it is a manufacturers defect, but the folks at the phone shop said they have seen tons of Flip phones for this issue. Don't sell a product until it is truly ready! Consumers should not be your R & D!
Also the camera was not nearly as good as my old pixel. I cannot in good conscience recommend the flip 4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved it-but doesn’t hold up

I recieved this phone in December and in less than a month the screen was detaching at the hinge and no longer responding. I was given a replacement device of the same model and was doing great up until today(6 months later) when the same issue started. Thankfully, it’s able to be replaced under warranty, but I’ve given it a second chance and I think I’ll trade it in for a different model. It’s a shame because I really appreciate the fold capabilities, maybe in the future once the screen technology comes a bit further I’ll try it again.

I've had the Z Flip 4 for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. I love how small it is when it's closed. It fits in my pocket without falling out. I can slip it into my purse without worrying that something is going to scratch the screen or crack it. I had the Galaxy S21 and the full screen on the Z Flip 4 is bigger but yet when the phone is closed its small and compact.

I had this phone for 6 months. It was the WORST phone I’ve ever owned. It is definitely a gimmick phone. The screen near at the fold started to crack and thank goodness I had insurance on it. Was told the replacement probably would last 3 months. No thank you. Save the money. The nostalgia on the flip phone was short lived. The only cool thing was the amount of customization this phone offered.
