Very Solid Phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical about getting a folding phone, it made me really nervous because I didn't want to mess up the screen, but it's just like any other phone. The screen on it is very nice and bright, you'll see a bit of a crease but it's not terribly distracting. When it's folded it's small and compact but it still has weight to it so you'll still feel it in your pocket and what not. The battery life is very nice and the mini screen on the front is useful when you want to check something really quick and not be distracted by opening the whole phone. On top of the fact that the phone is VERY customizable. 10/10 purchase.

Compactness with tradeoffs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While many of the issues of previous flips persist, such as the battery just not holding as much of a charge as other devices nowadays, its compactness, thanks to it folding vertically as opposed to the ZFold's horizontal is the biggest appeal. In an era of us shoving phones into our pockets just like we did back in the 1990s with a StarTac, it's such a welcome thing to have a device that won't crack the instant we sit down with one in our pocket, the huge rectangle stretching our pants as if it were a dinner plate.

Great device but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this Z Flip 4 device as a daily driver. I have had each iteration of the flip and this is the second one that the screen protector has lifted with a bubble at the fold.
This is not a good track record. Having a phone that has an issue is an unfortunate occurrence. Having two phones in a row have the same occurrence is a manufacturing issue or design issue.
I will in all likelihood get a Z Flip 5 when they become available but it will more than likely not be my daily driver.
I find the thought of going back to a candy bar style phone repulsive but with that said I will more than likely upgrade one of my Z Flip 4 phones to an S23 Ultra.

Customization for the consumer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z flip4 is a fun phone which takes pride in being a customizable daily use object and always stands out of the crowd. It's size Is perfect for it's function and is rather comfortable to hold and use. The phone, however seemingly lacks in durability overall. I have not tested with extreme tests but I have had to replace it sooner than anticipated

Something new...but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, this phone is great, especially if you are a seasoned android user & constantly are carrying your phone instead of keeping it in a purse or pocket while it's not in use. I love being able to hold it in the palm of my hand. When you have it open, it doesn't feel flimsy. It's solid. I love the texture of the shell. Very smooth. I absolutely love to prop up the phone in fold mode & watch a little you tube or follow a makeup tutorial. Or play a game on the bottom half while I watch something on the top. I like the screen saver graphics on the smaller front screen. It's nice to see... Complaints are :
The small screen is too small. If your a music person & constantly need to skip your songs, it would be convenient...i think. Using it for that feature,checking the time, weather & times is basically all its used for. If you have a smart watch as well, then it's pointless... I'm my opinion.
But for me the ability to have a folding phone is more important to me than having a bigger screen. Although it would be nice to be able to use that screen real quick to send a text or check something quick, then when you wanted to use it for more, open it up. I hope they do that upgrade sooner than later!

HINGE IS DEFECTIVE

I bought this less than a year ago and the hinge has a HUGE DEFECT in that it lets dirt get in behind the screen which subsequently BREAKS it. DO NOT BUY THIS BADLY CONCEIVED CRAP!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
