Fantastic Flip 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several Samsung Note series phones and really appreciated them except for their size becoming too large for my pockets to completely contain them.
I watched the folding phones develop over the years and was not convinced that they had matured. But when Samsung released the Flip 4, the reviews caught my attention so I decided to try it.
I've had my Flip 4 for several months now and it has been a great phone. I really appreciate how compact it is when folded, yet how good the screen looks and works when open. It fits easily in my shirt pocket yet gives me plenty of screen space for reading, watching videos, editing pictures, and even doing some designs and drawings.
As for performance, the Flip 4 greatly outperforms my previous Note 10 for cellular reception and processing speed. The colors are beautiful and clear and the sound is excellent.
I also use my Flip 4 to control my 3D printers and it is able to respond faster over WiFi or Bluetooth than my desktop. It has become my first choice controller for my print farm.
The folding screen is very reliable so far and has no issues with distortion nor with mechanical problems. I will often create quick drawings across the fold and they look good and keep their original design even after numerous folds.
Battery life is as good as my Notes were and it typically lasts from 7am to 11pm even with heavy social media usage.
One improvement I would like to have is a pen on board.
It's a great phone and a joy to use!

Amazing speed!

I need to run multiple apps for work and this phone has been able to keep up with my busy schedule.My apps run so smooth and fast!

A refreshing experience with same look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has always been good at listening and keeping up with customers. No matter our demands, concerns, ideas, or anything else. They have shown this again when coming out with the Samsung Z Fold 4 series.
The durability of the phone has drastically improved and that's even speaking for the folding hinges. Over time, I have noticed how well it is true to the folding and unfolding. Without feeling lose or worn out over time.
Software and battery is a great feature.
And we all love the camera.

Amazing phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Z flip 4!! It is so compact and easy to carry around when folded but yet opens up to such a large , beautiful display! I love how I can answer my phone and perform functions from the viewing screen when phone is folded, this is so handy for me! I'm 100% a Samsung galaxy fan and this phone did not disappoint, definitely my favorite phone to date!

Sadly the Flip 4 is not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this phone mainly to play merge type games. Unfortunately, the battery life is Horrific! It has less than half the battery life of a full size phone.
The sizes when folded and open are great. It is quite convenient with tons of positives as to to picture, bells and whistles, etc. You know, the usual stuff.
BUT... I received my Flip 4 in September and it isn't working properly. Interference, static, audio and more. This is a big issue

It gets slow over time

I have been wanting this phone since the first one, but decided to wait to let Samsung work out the bugs and issues. while it's neat, and functions fine, I hate it. wish I never got it my s21 was AMAZING. this is clunky, and thicker than most phones and the crease in the screen drives me absolutely bonkers. also they did away with the telephoto lens on this camera so pictures are awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
