King of cell phones!

The Galaxy Z Fold4 is the king of cell phones! Every aspect of this phone is so seamless and smooth that I’m grateful to own it. Since I bought it, my life has changed for the better. The fast working part and great camera for photos and movies (love director’s view) make me the go-to person for taking pictures when I’m in a group of friends. With its huge screen, I can read books, watch movies, and use browsers as if it were a laptop. It’s like having a small carry-on laptop, phone, and camera all in one! I feel empowered with such a potent machine in my hand.

Still the best form factor - Fold 2 was better

I switched from Fold 2 after just having my Fold 2 replaced under warranty for a cracked screen a few months previous. I pre-preordered the Fold 4, excited to get the latest and greatest fold device. Overall, the Fold 2 felt more premium with better build quality. I guess they are now getting to the "mass manufacturing" model a bit more. Still can't go back to a non-folding form factor at this size, but now excited to have new players entering this market to push Samsung into polishing this device more than they did with this model. I'm sure that those who have been switching from non-folding devices or who never owned the Fold 2 wouldn't know that the latest versions are downgraded, but that's ok. :-)

So I recieved my ZFold 4 about a month ago. Some of the things I like about this phone would be watching videos is more enjoyable due to screen size. The sound is very impressively louder than other phones too. I am still getting used to it. Setup was really nice and easy and I really like the facial recognition option and customization options the Z Fold has. The only thing that I noticed a problem with was the fact of how frigging slippers or slick the phone is. If a person isn't careful you could drop it easily. Overall I am really pleased and glad I purchased it.

A Very Powerful Phone for Experienced Users!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the Fold 3, the Fold 4 is just a tad better in every way. Making the front screen a bit wider made it easier to type on the front screen. The camera upgrade was a nice welcome, and introduced the taskbar when unfolded. As a Corporate Tech at a local school system, it made a world of difference in my workflow when out of the office working on tickets. The stylus is perfect for drawing out dimmentions or rough sketching out diagrams for any wiring or planning. Having multiple apps open at once on the same screen makes it much easier when looking at a photo, and typing out the serial number or barcode into inventory, or a ticket. For experienced android users, Samsung is really the best you can get out there. And with the commitment to 4 years of OS updates, and excellent support. you really cant go wrong!

I find myself using the tablet mode all the time. It's really nice to be able to use it when browsing the web and then less common but also really fun when sharing videos and photos. I also find that I like the different than the normal form factor of the phone when it's closed. I find that it's easier to type and reach things across the screen unless they're on top of the screen in which case it requires a bit of reach. In general, I find myself needing to go to my personal computer far less because the tablet screen is big enough to see when I need and get things done.
Coming from an iPhone, I feel that the applications are good but somewhat consistently missing the polish that I was used to on the iPhone. I still think it's worth it. The flexibility and customizability of the phone is really nice and makes it a little more fun to use in a way that I don't find distracting.
The battery life is okay, it normally last me the full day on a single charge. I also use the battery protection which charges the phone only up to 85%. On days where I have a lot of zoom calls or an using the tablet mode more, I'll see myself maybe needing to charge near the evening.
I would also suggest getting the phone case with a kickstand as it can be really helpful to prop the phone up while it's in the tablet mode.
