Excellent Hardware, Bluetooth connection issues

I absolutely love this phone, and can never see myself going back to a standard screen size device. The ability to run 2-3 apps on the same screen of a mobile device is a game changer.
Unfortunately I can only give 3 out of 5 stars because of the Bluetooth issues regarding the most recent Samsung OneUI 5.0 / Android 13 update. Before the update Bluetooth wearables and earbuds connected without issue, But since the update my ZFold 4 and my daughters Flip 4 no longer connect to our FitBit smartwatches. Hopefully this gets resolved via a software update, as it only seems to be a problem with the folding Samsung devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Z flip 3 5G and I loved that phone except for the battery life so I upgraded and got the Z fold 4 and I freaking love this phone when more. Better battery life and bigger screen. It rocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a great fan of Samsung galaxy phones and I always preferred the note series. I was skeptical about which phone will I choose this time and it was tough because I was thinking about switching to iPhone but after looking at the bright colors of the screen, the refresh ratio on the screen, the loud speakers and the new hidden camera under the main display I said to myself why pay for something that's been in the marked for a long time and the call it innovative, same phone that everyone has. About the line on the main screen you don't even realize it and if you take care of it (free of sand & water) it looks like a brand new phone every day. Samsung and Android give you the freedom of choose the best service provider for you, you can personalize every aspect of your phone, the front screen works amazing when I'm only using it to reply a message, make calls. The size of it is great, fits on my pants, car cup holder, laptop bag, it has fast wireless charge that made it so convenient to just lay it down and forget about cords. The cameras are awesome, I can still take night pictures and they look nice as my previous note 20 ultra. And when I use it for work it literally becomes a laptop, tablet. I am able to show my costumer real pictures, specifications and the whole catalog of what we have instead a tiny picture and having the dreaming of it. I feel guilty that once I thought about switching to iphone. I get compliments every time I take it out in front of others. And for fun watching movies on your free time and be able to game on it with the xbox app is a phone that will take you from your ordinary day to another galaxy... Why live on 2022 when you can live on 2050!

Better and worse at the same time

Your product shots and marketing images show what looks like an all Matte finish device. The Fold 4 is nowhere near that. The Fold 4 is 95% glossy unlike the beautiful matte finish of the Fold 3. All side railings of the Fold 4 are a high glossy tacky/sticky nasty easy finger print covering finish. The new finish also takes so much away from the overall look. The Fold 3 looked unified, stealthy, and perfect. The Fold 4 finish is far inferior. Also, why would Samsung think anyone would want to feel this glossy sticky coating on something that's supposed to be a tablet? The high gloss finish of the hinge was bad enough but to make the entire phone feel like the hinge finish minus the back was just such a stupid move. This entire product should be a matte finish. People use the Fold for it's tablet transforming ability. If it doesn't feel like a true tablet in hand and feels more like a phone in hand it wrecks the experience. This is something I never thought in a million years Samsung would get wrong, especially when they got it so right with the Fold 3. Please make the next fold 100% matte, along with the rest of your devices. Glossy finishes are OUT! No one wants them. They don't even look good. Beside this the Fold 4 is better than the Fold 3 in every other area. It's a shame they did something so dumb. Also, the Standing cover case is awful. Far worse than the previous case for the Fold 4. The previous case offered full blown hinge protection, had a great feel in hand with it being fake leather, and it felt right in hand. It also protected the cover screen. Granted the cover screen couldn't be as easily used with the old case, I still strongly believe it was all around better. This new case is the worst finger print magnet that you will ever see. The pen petruding off the back is a very bad design. Samsung has some of the best designers in the world but can't figure this out for the life of them. Solution is so easy. USE MAGNETICS ! They could have easily used a magnetic design for the case. The pen should also be able to attach magnetically to the phone itself. Samsung has just gotten this all wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone and how you can split the screens up to 3 ways. I love the fact it's like a little tablet. Few cons but they are personal preferences 1)the stylist doesn't allow you to use it to take photos like my note stylist did, 2) doesn't connect to my fossil smart watch, and 3) stylist only works with the phone flipped open. Cool phone though would not choose anything else. Great for watching movies on the plane as well.

Galaxy Fold, My new tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many different phones over the last several years. I have had Samsung for the last 3, always unlocked. This Z fold is phenomenal. It does everything that my tablet does and more. I have great pics. I am on a half dozen Social sites with zero difficulties. Waze, Google maps, etc. with this it is so much better and easier, to follow directions. I watch movies and use it for games. The open screen is everything I hoped it would be for gaming. I don't notice the Fold in the middle when it is open, never really did. Had a Samsung Galaxy Z3 Fold for 1-2 yrs.
I can't wait to see what Samsung comes up with next.
