[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am old enough that when I first went to work for a newspaper, my equipment was a stenographer's notebook and an aging Royal typewriter (which I still have for nostalgia). I've tried all sorts of combinations since the advent of computers -- desktops, laptops, tablets, smart phones. My first Samsung Note in 2009, with the S-Pen and Notes, was a big improvement -- I ditched the paper notebooks. But the Galaxy Z Fold finally solved all of my on-the-road requirements (and I increasingly use it for writing when I'm home). I first had the Fold 3 and I now have the Fold 4. Samsung Notes have improved considerably since I began to use the app and the S-Pen. Now Notes on the Fold double screen are easy, accessible and very adaptable to both professional and personal uses. Organization is a breeze and accelerates my work; for longer articles I use Notes and other research with Microsoft OneNote. Now with the Fold 4's double screen (and earlier the 3), I get the advantage of a laptop or tablet without having to haul around another device or two. I sometimes use a traveling Bluetooth keyboard, but more and more I use the onboard keyboard; I just finished a 4,000 word article using just the onboard keyboard. The split screen is also an added advantage for research and multi-tasking. The price for the Fold is high, but the payback is much higher.

Small but significant improvements to the Fold3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fairly happy with the Fold 3 from which I upgraded, but the Fold4 has a few features that make it a significantly better device. The slightly larger front screen makes a surprising difference to the usability of the keyboard. The more efficient processor seems to have come with improved battery life and performance of apps (especially when multitasking.) The phone being slightly lighter isn't too important to me, but it is noticeable. I have had no problems so far with durability or performance, ultimately the best phone I've used for work and entertainment.

Best phone I've had.... yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this phone for about 3 weeks now, the update to the UI allowing multiple apps used at the same time is godsend. I can play my gacha games while watching youtube simultaneously. The camera is also *chef's kiss* maybe not as potent as the S series but I've gotten many compliments on the quality of my photos.
