[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having a Lenovo ThinkPad the IdeaPad is a disappointment. The battery doesn’t last very long. Every time I go to use it, it’s dead. And it has to be plugged in for a while before you can turn it on, unlike my ThinkPad. The first time it ran down I couldn’t get it to come on without holding down the power button for 10+ seconds to discharge the battery (had to google for that one). The number pad functions differently too, and I’m having a hard time adjusting so far. We were unable to get the camera to be recognized by a streaming app, still trying to figure that one out.
The price was great but I wish I had stuck withThinkPad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely write reviews but for this I just had to! I love this laptop, from its long lasting battery life to the massive screen. It’s got everything you need. I especially love the fingerprint scanner for added protection. I have noticed that I rarely use the laptop in tablet mode, however that’s not the reason I bought this particular device. I really do appreciate how Lenovo was able to deliver the laptop 3 days before that predicted arrive date. All in all this is a solid laptop that I would recommend to anyone.
