[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have four boys and therefore eat many meals at home. The range top offers excellent range of temperatures (w/ plenty of BTUs, ample cooking space, and is easy to clean. It is a great choice for our kitchen.

Powerful burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still adjusting to the heating capacity of this cooktop, but I certainly enjoy having so much range. I still have to pay attention that I haven't set the flame too high. I really enjoy the continuous grate, which allows for taking a pan off the burner when needed. The grates are just two pieces, so they are a bit heavy, and unfortunately the rubber pads they rest on are tiny, and if you don't pay attention you'll have the grates resting directly on the cooktop surface and scratching it. After I had a large pot simmering for hours I noticed the rubber pad that was subjected to the most heat split and looked as though it may have melted a bit. They should definitely develop a more substantial pad.

Works great, but flawed finishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this cook top last spring, but within a month it started losing the rubber feet from the bottom of the grates. Frigidaire reluctantly sent me a replacement kit for those feet, and I have certainly used it. Now a small circle of the enamel finished popped off near the igniter of the central burner. I will see how Frigidaire responds to my complaint about that. Otherwise the cook top functions well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE this stove!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a small contractor, flipping beach houses as a second job. When remodeling my own kitchen, I was reluctant to buy this stove for several reasons. First, I was worried that the heavy black rates woud scratch the white surface. I am pleased to say that after 6+ months of everyday use, no issues there. I was also worried about clean-up, having had a gas stove before, I know how it can be hard to cean up. Again, no issue, the white surface cleans up with no trouble. Another concern was the depth, but it is as shallow as described, and I only had to notch a small corner out of the back of one drawer in order to save the existing dawer that was there, under the former electric cooktop. Shipping was easy, on time, and no damage. Installation was super simple. Note that you need a plug, it is not hard wired. Lastly, it cooks GREAT!! Once you get the burners adjusted appropriately, it is consistent and predictable. Love the oversized center burner for big pots, we cook crabs frequently and this is a really nice option on a modest sized cooktop. (Note I tried to add Photos but this site will not allow me to upload)

easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very good. The most exciting feature is that each burner has a distinctly different BTU rating ranging from 5000 BTU to 20,000 BTU which allows more precise cooking. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this cook top for about a month. My wife has been very happy to use it, which I knew mostly due to the reason of faster response compared to our previous electric cook top. Installation was easy. I liked the tilted knob panel. The knob control appeared smooth and efficient. My biggest complain is the distance between the flame and the grid being too much, which I believe wastes quite a bit energy. I would not have any hold-back to recommend this product if without this drawback. Hope Frigidaire will have a lower grid. Also if total 4 grids instead of 2 bigger pieces are equipped, cleaning would be easier. It is pretty warm at the bottom of this cook top during cooking.

works great - details, not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful stovetop and works great. However.. details - the little stoppers keeping it from scratching fell off every time i lift it to clean, already causing scratches on the stovetop. 3 are now missing. Be aware that the grates are extremely heavy to lift off to clean.
