Beautiful Piece for our Kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 36" gas cooktop so far has been great. The look has brought our kitchen together, and I was pleasantly surprised that it runs almost flat on the bottom, so we were still able to get a pull out drawer in our cabinet to be functional and give us a bit more storage space in our kitchen renovation. So far, as advertised and would definitely purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The burners work very well. The grill is heavy and cumbersome to lift and clean any spills falling on the stainless steel plate below. Small pots do not sit well on the grill above the gas burners. They sit at an angle.

A serious safety concern

A serious safety concern. After only about 10 minutes of cooking, the entire surface becomes extremely hot, including the control knobs. The knobs get so hot that you can barely touch them to adjust or turn off the heat.
This makes normal cooking feel unsafe and creates a real risk of burns. We are using the proper cookware, so the cookware is not the issue. In my experience, the excessive heat appears to be coming from the product itself.
I would not recommend this product until the manufacturer properly investigates and resolves this safety issue.

36ʼ FRIGIDAIRE GAS COOKTOP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a new 36ʼ cooktop to replace our 30ʼ cooktop. The one we wanted to buy had to have backlit/underlit handles/knobs so we could see when the cooktop was on. Our previous cooktop had such a low flame when it was on low it was hard to see the flame so we needed to have lighted knobs. This new 36ʼ cooktop is excellent in its performance and the lighted knobs are exactly what we wanted
