We put aluminum foil on the bottom to prevent from stains or spills from our cooking . No issues there.
The grates - we r careful to wash and dry it quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our gas cooktop is great 5 burners that work fantastic. The cooktop is spacious and allows you to cook with 13 in pots and pans and 10 inch pots and pans at the same time. The surface is easy to clean as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic, replaced a blue star range and no comparison this is by far the best range top I’ve seen. We compared them all, even some really high end stuff and we bought the best mainly placement of knobs to great cast iron grates. Thanks
