I've had my machine for a little over a year now and have tried trouble shooting before leaving any reviews in case of user error, but I keep noticing the same things. The dryer portion does not dry thoroughly if you're doing more than one load of laundry per day without changing the settings(bedding setting works best I've found). The washer portion worked fine for a few months then stopped draining entirely leaving clothes sopping wet. Had a tech come from where we bought it and he said there was nothing wrong with the machine. I have to empty the front drain of water after every load so that it would drain properly. When the wash first starts half of the soap is wasted right into the door gaskets because the jets trickle down the glass regardless of how full or empty the drum is. I've found work around but would not recommend this machine to anyone looking.
Tl;dr decent machine if you don't mind DIY workarounds to get the best use out of it. Slim and attractive design.

I have had my LG Washtower for 3 weeks and I am in love. I researched all the options when I needed to replace my much loved LG stackables that were 16 years old. I could not find any reason not to buy the Washtower as every review I read or watched raved about it. I was worried about the all in one unit as opposed to 2 separate stackable units in case one were to break and an appliance retailer posted that even though they may look the same later on the stackable option with the mounting plates is almost never compatible. Given that my old LGs had lasted 16 years I was pretty confident that the Washtower would be for us. And wow, it is AMAZING. A little smaller in stature making it easier to load and unload the dryer. All the bells and whistles, and it is intuitive. I really love that the dryer recognizes which wash cycle was used and then just runs the appropriate dryer cycle. The app is super helpful as well with notifications on when the loads have finished, laundry tips and a countdown and reminder to run the cleaning feature on the washer every 30 loads. And best of all this baby is just darn sexy! Everybody comments on how pretty it is and I have to agree.

These are my first LGs and I am absolutely loving them!!! The standard stackable units end up with the dryer controls way over my head. Having both the washer and dryer control located in the middle of the unit is the perfect solution for those of us who are height challenged.

We've had this for almost 1 1/2 yrs. now and love almost everything about it:
Pros = LG app notifies when the wash or dry cycle is complete as well as giving a reminder when to run the tub cleaning cycle and washing the lint filter (never knew we had to do that). My wife is petite, so for her having the control panels consolidated in the middle as opposed to split between the top and middle closed the deal for us. Our old one was over 10 yrs old before it started having control panel issues (not an LG brand) so we were blown away at how little water the LG uses for the same load. It cleans well with so little it was shocking! The one con we've noticed is that even with the setting set to Max Dry the clothes do not always come out completely dry. We often wind up having to run a gentle shorter manual cycle to dry it completely (ours runs on gas). In spite of this, we would get it again. Overall, we are happy enough with it that we have slowly started to replace our other appliances with something from the LG brand family.
