I spent many hours researching washers and dryers, stackable and side by sides. We ultimately decided on this unit because of its compact size, but still large drums to wash our comforters, etc. The control panel is in the center, so I don't have to reach high to set the controls. I love the song it plays when loads are complete too. We are very happy with our new LG machine and hope it continues to exceed our expectations over the years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG Washtower about a month ago for two main reasons; 1) the dimensions of the Washtower [width & height] were a good fit for my laundry closet; stacked separate washer & dryer units would have presented a height issue 2) the Washtower's center control panel is very reachable unlike stacked washer & dryers.

Very user friendly. My only setback is that I cannot download extra settings because it does not support 5g. I also cannot turn off the turbo wash. The machines themselves are spacious and work wonderful.

Our first four or five loads washed and dried perfectly but then the dryer would not heat up which was rather disappointing. But the good news is LG's online chat determined that we needed a service call and they scheduled it for us within two business days with a local repair service. The repairman arrived on time and was competent and efficient. He replaced a defective igniter with a brand new one and had us up and running within an hour. It works perfectly again. We love how it looks, how it cleans and dries and that it is so very quiet. We're very happy with our purchase.
