Great unit!

Great refrigerator. I thought the shelf depth would be too narrow but it has actually helped to keep things from ‘getting lost’ in the back. The auto fill is fabulous. The only thing to be wary of is that you close the door completely each time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems with GE Cafe Refrigerator

Ordered unit on 11/29/23
Received/Installed on 3/3/2024
- Damage to right side of fridge (kept unit for 10% discount) Had already waited 3 months for unit.
- Ice Maker not working after a few weeks
Service Dept visit on 4/29/2024
- Determined entire Left Door needed to be replaced
- Door delivered on 5/17/2024
Service Dept visit to install on 5/20/2024
- Unpacked and notices damage to left/top corner of door
New door ordered and service scheduled for 6/6/2024
Received/Installed on 3/3/2024

This has been very frustrating and inconvenient for us to have to coordinate our schedule to get this fixed. Especially for a high end GE Cafe Refrigerator that my wife really likes!
We paid a lot of money for this unit and to have these quality problems is unacceptable. Not sure what can be done but this does not make me want to recommend GE Appliances to others. Please make it right!

Have had my Cafe refrigerator installed for a little over a month now. PROS: Handsome addition to our kitchen remodel; size is sufficient for a 2 person household; all functions are easy to set up and use; I do like the optional drawer for refrigeration or soft freeze. CONS: vegetable and fruit storage is limited (small drawers) Water/ice on door - Autofil is a great feature although it doesn't always fill entirely - could be the way light hits the unit; ice auger is slow compared to old unit that was not a GE product. Would I purchase again? Not sure - probably would go with a larger cubic ft storage area.

Still too soon to provide any comprehensive feedback but so far so good. Like the clean look and basic set of features, that are not too overwhelming or complex.
Minor improvement - Would like some customizations on interior light adjustment, autofill feature to work when a container already has water/is not empty to begin with, soft auto-close doors etc...
