Beautiful with great features

We replaced a 30 year old built in GE monogram. This counter depth cafe model is beautiful. The space is deceiving as it holds more than you think it would and the inside is very organized. Love the middle drawer and all of the freezer drawers and storage. Having the ice maker in the door is great as it doesn’t take away any freezer space. It’s perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty but terrible

This is the worst fridge. The water flow is so slow. I’ve is building on the bottom of the freezer and the doors and drawers are so hard to close. When they place is possible to get off completely. I’ve had it for over a month and I wish we could return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’d like to help with the water flow from your unit’s dispenser as well as the ice buildup in your freezer. We recommend ensuring that the cradle on the dispenser is held down for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the reservoir to fill completely. You can find additional information in the following article:

Regarding the ice buildup in your unit, please check to ensure there are no food packages, baskets, shelves, or bins preventing the door or drawer from closing fully. Also, keep in mind that placing warm or uncovered food in the freezer can cause temporary frost or ice crystal buildup.

So far 1 star let’s see if GE can fix it

1 star so far the doors don’t align, 1/4” off. The right is crooked causing the alignment issue and the right door doesn’t close like it should. Obviously a mfg issue and QA issue. The web to register doesn’t work. I enter the information then I go to register and it will not let me enter my phone number. It says it already exist. Oh also I can’t enter a photo to show you the problem, coding error.

Died on day

Compressor puked out on day 3 after installation. Fan is dead. Freezer won’t freeze. Rest barely holding…of course on a Saturday so no help available. DO NOT BUY this gigantic pice of trash of a fridge. Also, can’t fit a standard gallon milk jug between the shelves toward the back without adjusting to useless configuration of rest of shelves or using the front part on the sliding shelf, this rendering anything in the back of it as difficult to get out. Poor design of storage space. Regret ever considering.

Very unhappy!

This is a brand new fridge that broke down literally 1 week after it was delivered! We lost everything in the freezer and fridge and that isn't cheap. The repair man said he will have to take it in to the shop to repair. DO NOT buy this product! Our new Cafe ovens also broke after 2 months of use and are now finally repaired. I will NEVER buy your products again! Now I just have to hope the new cook top, dishwasher and microwave will actually hold up!

Beautiful, yet massively flawed

Had this unit for 12 months. Gorgeous fridge, but the actual temperature it runs at is way off. The snack draw is useless. The unit runs anywhere between 5 and 10 degrees colder than set. After utilizing 3x different thermometers to verify, I can say this is an accurate takeaway. Countless drinks have exploded, even setting the unit to its highest "wine" setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love The Look

Love the look but missing a lot of features my 18 year old Maytag had. No wine storage to hold wine horizontally under a shelf. No egg container, no dividers for door bins, a shelf that you could raise up or down with a turn of a handle or tilting door bin. No humidity control on vegetable drawer. For cost of appliance it should have a second ice maker in freezer one on door is small with tiny cubes that melt fast.No light in middle multi use drawer. So far the pluses are looks on the outside love the looks on the inside with the back lighting. I hope it gives us 18 plus years of perfect service like our old Wide by Side Maytag. :)
