Save yourself headaches and buy a different one!

Initially, I really loved the refrigerator. The glass doors are such a great idea, hide fingerprints nicely, and are so easy to clean. Love the back-lit interior, snack/wine drawer, and automatic water filling option. However, considering that high price tag of almost 5k, I would have never expected us to have so many issues with this fridge. It started with occasional water puddles on the floor, most often after exchanging the filter, then water accumulating under the vegetable drawers in the fridge, and now the ice machine not working at all. we've troubleshot anything we could think of but to no avail. Our previous Whirlpool and much cheaper French door refrigerator still runs strong in our garage after 12 years without any leaks and a working ice maker. As much as I want to love this fridge, it has given me more headaches and produced more cleanups than any other appliance I've ever owned, thus I can only advise to NOT buy this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall seems like a good refrigerator

We have only had this refrigerator for about one week. So far so good. I purchased digital thermometers to verify adequate cooling in all compartments and it is hitting the target temperatures I have set. I was dissapointed in that the unit came with factory defects since the box was unopened and the unit was very well protected. The right door chrome edge was recieved scratched. The dairy bin rose gold trim was in part worn (erased) and the inside gray plastic was blemished/scratched. Quality control issues at factory. See pictures.

Terrible ice maker

The Cafe Fridge works well and the glass front is very easy to clean. That said, I’ve never been so frustrated by an appliance. I like ice and several times a day my blood pressure rices as I have to literally reach up into the ice maker dispenser to force a few cubes out. Terrible design and engineering. Please be advised that if you use ice, don’t by this machine. If you hate ice, the fridge will serve you just fine.

Poor quality warranty repair terrible

My refrigerator was installed 6 weeks ago and it’s been 6 weeks of countless time on the phone, time off work and frustration in dealing with a poorly made product. The ice maker never worked. The warranty provider I was given is 40 miles away and only comes to my area once a week. One week to order parts then another to install. They were terrible at communication and I asked for another service provider. At that point was told there is one 15 miles away. I haven’t heard from them yet. Now the water dispenser also doesn’t work. I would never recommend this refrigerator or company. A brand new refrigerator should work, I don’t think my expectations are too high
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
