Enjoying product. I had to choose the compact side due to not being able to get the regular size model through my entrance doors. But it has worked just fine since my family size is smaller. I really like the front load freezer three tier compartment . It allows me to keep everything organized. And the mid level refrigeration allows me to toggle between sodas, cold cuts and wine storage. It’s a great product. It’s the Cafe model. I can’t wait until I add the cafe microwave. I have the smooth top oven also. GREAT CHOICES!

Beautiful and Functional

The Cafe refrigerator is beautiful! It has most features we want and fits so well in our kitchen. It is limited in storage bins but adequate for our needs. The Auto fill water feature is so convenient. We never knew we needed it! It does not have crushed ice but we do not need it. It also has a small ice bin and makes ice very quickly. It seems complicated on how to set temperatures for zones but I am reading the online manual for instructions. There is so much tape and strapping tape on it be prepared to spend an hour or more removing it. It's expensive but I recommend it.

Avoid at all costs

Do not buy this or any other café appliance, we outfitted our entire kitchen and house GE products and every single one of them has had to been fixed at least once including this refrigerator now not functioning and they are dragging their feet on fixing it in an appropriate time avoid at all costs. DO NOT BUY CAFE OR GE.

Attractive design, good storage area, freezer stor

My overall experience with this Cafe Energy Star 22.3 Ft Refrigerator is deserving of a 5 Star Review. However, after owning it for 9 months, water is sweating thru one side of the refrigerator. We mist fortunately purchased extended warranty and while we are most appreciative of the confidence this will be taken care of! I cannot comment further until the remedy is determined! Several medications rely on constant refrigeration and stable temperatures. Hoping for a smooth and prompt resolution

DO NOT BUY THIS! Within 6 month of purchase the ice maker began melting and dumping water on the floor through ice dispenser. Then freezer died, now fridge section dying. This is the same issue someone else has mentioned in their review. The photo they have on their review with water dumping is exactly what ours looks like. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I love so many things about this refrigerator, but the fact that I cannot change the water filter is expensive and annoying. I have tried to replace my genuine GE water filter with 2 different (expensive) genuine GE water filters, which according to GE are the correct filters for my fridge, but the fridge does not recognize them. It displays an "ERROR" "Water Filter" and will not dispense water or ice. I have 4 GE Cafe appliances in my home and 6 GE Profile appliances in my winter condo. I am saddened by GE's unreliability.

This indicates that the filer is either not a genuine GE Appliance filter or that it is bad. We recommend using a bypass plug in place of the filter to check that your unit is reading the RFID chip. Organization challenge

I wish the door shelf on the right side could adjust. There’s no room for a wine bottle standing upright in this fridge unless you give up a shelf. Otherwise it’s a nice addition to our kitchen.
