Multiple repairs needed

I would not recommend this refrigerator or the cafe series. Our refrigerator, cafe range, and microwave have all needed multiple repairs most happening within the first year. We only have a family of three and are very careful with our new kitchen and new cafe appliances. We inquired about getting replacements and were told we had to pay after the first year or get the warranty. We never expected to get to know our local GE repair servicemen so well and to have 8 service calls on our cafe series within 3years with no end in sight. Customer service is not willing to remediate this longstanding issue, only providing bandaids that soon lead to more or repeated repairs of the same parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On our 4th delivered damaged or defective!

This has been the worst experience with any product in my life. We are on our 4th unit and this one also is defective. The quality is complete garbage... No solution in sight.

So far 1 star let’s see if GE can fix it

1 star so far the doors don’t align, 1/4” off. The right is crooked causing the alignment issue and the right door doesn’t close like it should. Obviously a mfg issue and QA issue. The web to register doesn’t work. I enter the information then I go to register and it will not let me enter my phone number. It says it already exist. Oh also I can’t enter a photo to show you the problem, coding error.

Bad product

nightmare product this is my 4th cafe item, The following damage is currently to my cafe refrigerator came with •dent in front door/scratches •loose ball bearings •freezer drawer shifts/shakes when opening •interior scratches •damaged interior bins •missing removable grey liner mats as STATED ON THE FEATURES. Poor product not worth the price tag.

Been living out of ice chest for almost 4 months

No! No! No! Brand new. Broken. Been living out of an ice chest for almost 4 months because of “backordered parts”. They have been out to fix my fridge 3 times and im waiting on 4th visit scheduled for next week. Do not waste your money on this “high end” fridge unless you have high wualaty ice chests to libe out of when it breaks and never gets repaired.

Expensive failure

We love the refrigerator itself, but.... The freezer didn't seem to seal properly as there has been lots of frost build up on one side of the freezer drawer. That would seem to indicate an air leak somewhere although door seals seem seated properly. Not a crisis, as it didn't seem to affect anything.
The ice dispenser frequently leaks very cold air, indicating an intermittent malfunctioning door/seal of some kind.
Today, after 6 months or so of service, this morning we noticed water started dribbling down the ice/water dispenser lever and through the door itself.
That was an annoying and concerning problem, but now, late in the day we discovered the likely reason for the water leaking. THE ENTIRE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM IS FAILING!
The freezer, which is set at -2F is registering 32-34 degrees with my instant read thermometer (which is accurate to -50F). The refrigerator portion is set at 37F and is registering 44 degrees.
No GE service is available for two weeks… after Christmas!
Question, does having non-GE service void the Warranty?
We are buying a small freezer as backup and have a small bar fridge for a few items
I'm 82 and have used/owned many refrigerators. Going back to my days as a child, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A REFRIGERATOR FAIL IN 76 YEARS, UNTIL OWNING A CAFE.
