Excellent refrig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far (a few months) this replacement refrig is working great. First refrigerator had a ‘beautiful’ major dent on the front facing door. However I’m greatful that GE replaced it .
So the only ‘concern’ I have is the ice maker. What genius GE engineer invited this loud ‘kerklunk’ mechanism. First time I hear it, it scared the you know what out of me. This is not a major issue,But, work on it.

Height available for tall beverage containers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the refridgerator is really nice. There is a tiny shelf on left door at very top that is so narrow it is hard to find anything to fit in it. Maybe airline size liquor bottles? Also the 2nd shelf on left side is split so you can slide it in half allowing you to put taller beverage containers on bottom shelf. Problem is it is not quite wide enough for my gallon tupperware ice tea container; the right door shelf box (also for tall containers like gallon milk jugs) is just an inch too high requiring you to tilt container considerably to insert into shelf. This is not a problem with screw cap containers but again a pitcher full of ice tea means you can't be full to the top as it will spill while tilting. Love the drawers for middle and drawers inside freezer.

Bring your flashlight

The interior lighting is inexplicably dim and almost entirely from the back, so all the food is backlit and therefore hard to see. Who designed this thing, a vampire?

It’s beautiful inside and out. The door reminds me if I leave it open by mistake. The ice maker is relatively quiet. And best of all—it doesn’t show fingerprints on the outside. I LOVE it.

Very pricey for a small capacity fridge. Ice maker is slow to dispense ice. It’s handsome looking but it doesn’t mask the facts I stated.
