Beautiful

Most beautiful and best refrigerator I’ve ever had. I sell appliances and been in the business for over 40 years. I have access to any brand of appliances and I chose Cafe. I also recommend Cafe to my customers. So far I have the refrigerator counter depth with dispenser and the air fry/convection microwave OTR. Next is the 30” double oven range. All in stainless steel. BEAUTIFUL!!

Beautiful but features need some improvement

This fridge is beautiful but a few of the features leave something to be desired. I like that the back wall lights up so you can see everything inside. The really large door shelves are sturdy and create a lot of extra space! The storage drawer handles are on the bottom of the drawers, not the top as most fridges, so I grab the wrong area every time. The ice maker doesn't make ice very quickly so we run out easily...I think I read it makes 6 cubes an hour. Way too slow! Also, the water filler is so slow I don't bother to use it and use my reverse osmosis faucet instead. The auto fill feature works sporadically. The soft freeze option in the top drawer doesn't soft freeze...ice cream is like a thick soup, not like ice cream. So we keep bread and buns in there instead to keep them fresh and not frost bitten. It works well for that. It also doesn't chill wine quickly...better off using the freezer if you want to chill in 3 hours or less. The freezer works great and the may drawers offer lots of storage options, however, be aware that also limits any large items so be sure you have another freezer so that you can backstock larger things.

Beautiful GE CAFE refrigerator! I love the back lighting and the platinum interior. The stainless tray in the water/ice dispenser is attractive yet practical. I expect it to be very durable. The handle-less design compliments my narrow kitchen so much by looking sleek and trim. The copper trim inside is very attractive. It adds to the elegance! Last but not lease, the glass coated doors are very easy to keep clean and to care for. And they add greatly to the exterior beauty.

Expected better

Less than 3 years and the ice maker stopped working. Also, the colors of the handle holders changed colors on 4 of the holders! I only clean with a damp sponge and it is not all of the holders….unsightly!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
