Beautiful inside and out. I love the matte finish. It is so easy to keep clean and looks very high-end. When you open the doors and the whole back of the fridge is backlit it’s just amazing.

Broken after 5 months

My GE Cafe is 5 months old - it stopped cooling so had a service call & learned the inverter is broken so we are now without a refrigerator for 2 weeks as we await for the part to arrive. Soooo disappointing!!

Poor performance and no Support

Looks great, failed at the 1 year mark just a day before warranty expires, but GE likes to play games and manipulate the dates to get out of paying. 3 months dealing with them, 9 service calls, and now the unit is completely dead. DO NOT TRUST GE! Fridge itself is very poorly designed and has many fail points per the repairman. Save your money, don't be fooled!

NOT SCRATCH RESISTANT

I thought I would love my new matte white Cafe appliances, but the refrigerator has caused so much stress. After only 3 months it has dents and scratches. The refrigerator can barely be bumped without causing damage. I get so paranoid every time anyone goes near it! I DO NOT recommend the matte white appliances especially if there are children in the house.

Pretty but terrible

This is the worst fridge. The water flow is so slow. I’ve is building on the bottom of the freezer and the doors and drawers are so hard to close. When they place is possible to get off completely. I’ve had it for over a month and I wish we could return it.

We recommend ensuring that the cradle on the dispenser is held down for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the reservoir to fill completely. Regarding the ice buildup in your unit, please check to ensure there are no food packages, baskets, shelves, or bins preventing the door or drawer from closing fully. Also, keep in mind that placing warm or uncovered food in the freezer can cause temporary frost or ice crystal buildup.
