IMO it’s the OG of cases. It was the first I really remember on the market, and with proper care and treatment it will last. If you have the holster/kickstand, be careful not to force the leg of the kickstand closed, as it’s held open by a small piece of plastic that CAN and WILL break if not closed with any force, especially in cold weather.

While more expensive, it fits the phone perfectly and since I’m prone to drop my phone since I keep it in my pocket at work, the case has done a great job protecting the screen from cracking, especially if it lands on a corner. The instructions on the package are nice so you can snap it on with ease. The inner piece of the case is a little difficult to pull apart, but fit the phone like a glove. I will definitely be buying these for future phones!

The best tough case there is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Defender Series user for years as it is the BEST tough case for the iPhone. I wouldn't recommend this for daily use unless you are in a profession and/or daily activity that can be a bit hard on the phone as it is bulky compared to the slim cases I use daily - however any time I'm doing something outside like skiing, camping, hunting etc, - this goes right on. I've dropped my phone from high distances and tumbled on the slopes with this protecting my phone - and never had an issue. The best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Otterbox is tough. Always has been. I used the defender for some of the first iPhones. I strayed for a while with cheap, low quality cases but as cell phones get more and more expensive, I’m back to the tried and true Otterbox Defender. It does come with a clip and I realize that not many folks are hip holstering these days but I appreciate it. This case doesn’t have tempered glass so you’ll want to get that. Overall, my phone is protected without an overly bulky case. Well built and stylish.
