Not so hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it works it's very good but it rarely stays on more than a few minutes before it turns off and I have to restart it. I would try and contact Ooni but why bother since they don't have a phone number, rarely return emails, and really doesn't care about the customer

Ooni Gas Burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gas burner lights easily, gets up to temp quickly. Struggles a bit to hold temp once a pizza is placed in the oven. Flames out occaisonaly, I live at altitude, it seems to work better with rear cover slightly ajar to let more air in the over.

Flame randomly goes out even

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flame randomly goes out even at highest setting. Does not perform well at lower settings … flame regularly goes out. Don’t feel comfortable enough to fire up and walk away to perform other tasks. Struggles to reach 900 degrees Fahrenheit. It does appear to reduce the back to front temperature gradient that is often / typically quite large when heating with wood / charcoal.

The gas burner is the easiest way to cook. It allows you to control your temperature much easier than the charcoal or wood chunks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ignition wasn’t working at all. Had to troubleshoot with customer service to get it to work. Required bending the wire in the back of the unit.

Definitely a worthy investment not only for easy and excellent pizzas but some wholesome family time.
We hit the ground running, making sauce and dough from the Ooni recipe book.
Couldn’t be happier.

Gas Burner Karu 16

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Karu 16. I'm still trying to get the Gas Burner to work properly. It is very difficult to get the flame to start and last time I gave up and used alternate source to get the flame. It also keeps going on and off once started.
I probably am doing something wrong, but after 4 times use now the problem continues. I will not give a full rating until I am sure I am not the problem. But I LOVE the Karu 16!!!!
