The gas burner for my

The gas burner for my Karu 16 is definitely a nice upgrade to wood as it puts out an awesome flame. My only concern would be with the ignition system as it fails to spark consistently and you then have to wait to vent out the excess propane gas.
Overall it’s a plus to my Karu .

It works well to heat

Karu 16 The Early Days

The build is excellent and the oven is Quite sturdy .
Time to heat to900 degrees with propane is significantly longer than 30 minutes. More like 45-50 ( with outdoor temperature in the 80s)
Wish that there was a variable control on the propane burner instead of high or low.
Unless you have a cracker thin crust cook time is significantly longer than 90 seconds .
Still learning though. Have only had the oven for a few months.

Quick and easy

Makes it convenient to use my Karu 16. Perfect when time is an issue or you need consistent temps.without the fluctuations of a wood fire. My only knock is I can't get the temps as high as with wood.
