I bought it to replace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it to replace it's predecessor that failed after 20 minutes. This one works for now. I am looking into replacing the thermostat on the other unit. Ooni really should create knowledge bases for these common issues. We had two pizza parties ruined as a result of the previous unit. Frustrating.

I received a unit with QC stickers in several spots. It should work, right? No spark. Even when lighting with a match, it wouldn't stay lit. I went through all the troubleshooting without success. I then contacted customer service. They had me go through all the troubleshooting again and record myself doing it as proof. Still didn't make a difference.
The kind service representative came up with the idea to send a new igniter. I didn't think this would help since it wouldn't stay lit even when ignited with a match, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
It took 12 days to get here. It sparked, but didn't light anything.
When I reached out again, they had a few more ideas about how they could send me one part in hopes that it would fix the problem. I told them that I would be happy to perform the labor to fix their product for a full refund. They decided to replace it instead.
Another 12 days go by.
New burner gets here, again with QC stickers all over it. I'm excited because it lit on the first try. It stayed lit...until it didn't. It lasted about 5 minutes.
Now I've had two pizza parties with it, and I have to light it again every 5-15 minutes, maneuvering the nob just right to keep the flame going. Sometimes I have to just hold the nob in to keep the flame going. Troubleshooting doesn't help.
Their QC department could use an improvement.
Don't buy it. Get a Gozney.

It won't stay lit until

Had to fix vent. Broken screw jammed it. Screw was cross threaded. Otherwise. All superb and yum!
