I've used it three times in my first week and couldn't be happier. I'vee grilled chicken thighs, shrimp and ribeye and have smoked ribs. Very versatile and feels like great quality. The hopper isn't the most user friendly to get to if you position it next to your house but it does hold a full bag of pellets. Overall I definitely recommend if you want a do it all grill/smoker.

I bought this 3 months ago and I regret it ever since. I'm beyond frustrated and lost all respect for weber which I held in very high regards in the past. now I have 3 month smoker in my backyard that is completely unusable. I just want hard working folks like me to know what they are getting into before the buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A few tradeoffs but worth it!

The SmokeFire is a unique beast and not for everyone. It trades grease & ash management for direct flame access and in my opinion IT IS A GOOD TRADE! Use of aluminum drip pans for messy cooks is a must. They are inexpensive and easy to put under the grates. Also get a shopvac to get the ash out of the bottom after a long cook. Takes a couple minutes, no big deal.
In return you can make smoked ribs & other meats that are epicly good AND you can sear steaks & hamburgers easily. Other smokers can't sear like this pellet grill can.
I fully recommend the SmokeFire to someone who is ok with a little prep work (drip pans) and a little cleanup (shopvac after long cooks). It is 100% worth it to me and I have no regrets at all. My family is beyond impressed by the ribs it makes!

I have only cooked on it 2 times since I have had it but it appears all issues with previous versions of the Smoke Fire are resolved. It has worked like a champ so far. Looking forward to doing ribs and brisket on it. It is now comparable to the new Treager and at a MUCH lower price point.

It hits the target temps high and low. It maintains temp, works through pellet jams, and is a smart simple grill to operate. They call it stealth but not to be fooled by the doctored photos there is "chrome looking" reflective strapping on front. That was the only disappointing aspect to the cooker. It could use some extra shelf space so I am hoping that they have matching black shelves coming soon like the gen2 pellet grills have.

Couldn't be more pleased with my SmokeFire to date (arrived ~2 weeks ago). Assembly/set-up was simple, looks great on the patio, and have been cooking the best meals with ease. So far have experimented with steaks, pizza, pork, salmon, veggies and excited to keep trying more. The Weber Crafted accessories are also a must have add-on with the Stealth edition. Highly recommend!
