Decades long, good reputation ruined by this lemon

Nothing but trouble from the get-go. The ignition system sucks. The shut-down procedure takes 15 minutes and cannot be circumvented, even when it doesn't light. Pellet hopper doesn't feed properly. The electronics ... probe ports failed first, then the WiFi. Less than 2 years old and I'm giving it away to whoever's willing to haul this thing off. My kids are still using the pellet grill it replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

added another technique to the cooking arsenal. weber quality abounds, super straight forward to use, probes work great and the app does as well except for the occasional updates but thats tech. big sous vide cook and i use it for the reverse sear, works great with a little smoke.
I want to love it, but its too early to tell. After about 4 cooks i had a temp.drop issue while cooking ribs at 250. It would not reheat, and started smoking terribly. I had to initiate a shut down, then restart. This worked, but it set me back about 40 minutes. Hopper was full and i had just cleaned the whole grill that morning. I am not new to grilling. I have a treager 780, a masterbuilt gravity series, and a green mountain grill. I am hoping this was just a glitch of some sort and not a recurring issue. If so, i will du p this thing in a heart beat since i have read so many other complaints. Also, i was using weber brand pellets.

Expected better at this price.

Everything internal not made of stainless is completely rusted out after 3 years of use, rendering it useless. Had problems with the hopper and motor from the start. Expected better quality at this price.
SmokeFire is great for a large family! You can cook multiple roasts and hamburgers and hot dogs for a crowd on this grill. We really love the delicious flavors as a result of cooking on this grill. The app works great.
